🔴 Board of Sins
A single-board computer designed to outperform the Raspberry Pi 5 at a comparable price. Everything the Pi does. And more.
Rockchip RK3588
8-core big.LITTLE CPU (4x A76 + 4x A55), Mali-G610 GPU, 8nm TSMC process. Built-in 6 TOPS NPU, expandable to 26 TOPS via M.2 AI accelerator.
Up to 32GB RAM
LPDDR4/LPDDR4X on a 64-bit dual-channel bus. Four tiers from 4GB to 32GB. The Pi 5 tops out at 16GB.
Transparent pricing
Cost-plus 1.5x markup. No hidden margins. Starting at ~£100 for the 4GB model, scaling down in price as volume grows.
Full HAT compatibility
Standard 40-pin GPIO header with Raspberry Pi-compatible pinout and voltage levels. Your existing HATs will work.
PCIe 3.0 x4
Onboard M.2 M-Key slot with PCIe 3.0 x4 — for NVMe SSDs or AI accelerator cards. No extra HAT required, unlike the Pi 5.
Graceful shutdown
Onboard supercapacitor backup maintains power long enough to safely close files and shut down on sudden power loss.
